Tony and Samantha bond over their shared love of sports in this episode of Who's the Boss? When Samantha's teacher assigns the class to write a report on their favorite sports hero, Samantha is excited to write about Tony, who she sees as her personal hero. However, Tony's lack of education and understanding of the assignment frustrates Samantha, causing her to doubt their bond. In an effort to prove himself to Samantha, Tony enlists Angela's help to write a report on his favorite sports hero, Joe DiMaggio.
Meanwhile, Angela is having some trouble of her own as she struggles to balance her work life and her personal life. After missing a piano recital for her son, Jonathan, Angela is determined to make it up to him by attending his next sporting event. However, when an important work meeting interferes with the game, Angela is torn between her responsibilities as a mother and her responsibilities as a businesswoman.
With both Tony and Angela facing their own challenges, they come together to support each other and the kids. Tony proves himself to Samantha by delivering an impressive report on Joe DiMaggio, and Angela makes it to Jonathan's game just in time to see him score the winning goal.
As the episode comes to a close, the family sits down to dinner and reflects on the importance of balancing work, school, and personal interests. They all realize that, in the end, what matters most is supporting and loving each other. Who's the Boss? delivers another heartwarming episode that reminds us all what truly matters in life.
