White Rabbit Project was a Netflix original series that premiered in December 2016. It featured Tory Belleci, Kari Byron, and Grant Imahara, all previous co-stars on the hit show MythBusters. White Rabbit Project had a similar premise to MythBusters, as it explored interesting topics and myths in science and technology. However, White Rabbit Project differed from MythBusters in a few key ways.

For one, White Rabbit Project had a slightly more structured format. Each episode focused on a particular theme, such as "heists" or "crazy world war II weapons." The hosts would then investigate and test various myths and theories related to that theme. Unlike MythBusters, where the experiments were often built from scratch, the White Rabbit Project team would also incorporate existing technology and gadgets into their tests.

Another difference was the addition of the "White Rabbit" aspect. The show's title comes from the character of the White Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland, and this theme was woven throughout the series. Each episode contained a "White Rabbit Challenge," where the hosts would compete against each other in a timed activity related to the episode's theme. These challenges ranged from making a giant sling shot to breaking out of an escape room. The winner of each challenge was awarded a "White Rabbit Badge," and the losers had to complete a humiliating punishment.

Despite these differences, White Rabbit Project maintained the same sense of fun and excitement as MythBusters. The hosts had great chemistry and seemed genuinely interested in the topics they were exploring. Belleci, Byron, and Imahara all brought their own areas of expertise to the table, and it was fascinating to watch them brainstorm and test different ideas. The show was also visually stunning, with slick graphics and high-quality production values.

Some of the standout episodes from White Rabbit Project include "Mayhem," where the hosts investigate the science of chaos and destruction. They test a variety of explosive devices, including a homemade flamethrower and a paintball tank. In "Incredible Feats," the team takes on the challenge of building a human-powered flying machine, and in "Tech We Love to Hate" they explore the history of some of the most notoriously unreliable gadgets.

White Rabbit Project was not without its flaws, however. Some viewers found the show to be too formulaic, and the White Rabbit Challenge aspect felt gimmicky at times. Additionally, while the hosts were all likable and knowledgeable, they lacked the same level of charisma and humor as Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman from MythBusters.

Despite these criticisms, White Rabbit Project remains an entertaining and informative watch for anyone interested in science and technology. The show tackled a wide range of topics in a fun and accessible way, and the chemistry between the hosts makes for an enjoyable viewing experience. While it may not have had the same cultural impact as MythBusters, White Rabbit Project is certainly worth checking out for fans of the genre.

White Rabbit Project is a series that ran for 1 seasons (10 episodes) between December 9, 2016 and on Netflix
