In "When Calls the Heart" season 4 episode 9, titled "Courageous Hearts," the residents of Hope Valley rally together to help a newcomer in need. When an Irish family arrives in town, the mother is suffering from a serious illness and it's up to Elizabeth, Abigail and the rest of the town to ensure she gets the care she needs.
Meanwhile, Jack finds himself in a difficult situation when he is assigned to work with a new Mountie who has a questionable past. As they work together, Jack must decide whether he can trust his new partner or if his past misdeeds have caught up with him.
Elsewhere in the episode, Rosemary and Lee lead a project to beautify the town square, but encounter unexpected opposition from some of the town's more stubborn residents.
As always, "When Calls the Heart" delivers heartwarming moments of community and friendship alongside its dramatic storylines. With emotional performances from the talented cast and stunning visuals of the idyllic Hope Valley setting, "Courageous Hearts" is an episode not to be missed.
