Mike Brewer and Edd China are back with an all-new episode of Wheeler Dealers and this week their focus is on the resilient Jeep CJ7. With the CJ7 being one of the most iconic off-road machines in the world, Mike and Edd are excited to get their hands on a classic model to restore to its former glory.
As the guys begin working on the Jeep CJ7, they realize that it needs some serious work. The engine is in bad shape, the suspension is worn out, and the body is pretty beaten up from years of hard use. But Mike and Edd are up for the challenge and they dive right in to start assessing what repairs and upgrades need to be made.
One of the first things they do is pull the engine out of the Jeep CJ7 so that they can take a closer look at it and get it running again. Edd discovers that the engine has a number of issues, including a cracked cylinder head, worn pistons, and damaged bearings. He also notices that some of the wiring is in pretty rough shape, so he decides to replace all of the electrical components to ensure that the Jeep CJ7 is in tip-top shape.
While Edd is hard at work on the engine, Mike turns his attention to the suspension. He quickly realizes that the CJ7's suspension is in dire need of replacement, so he sets out to find some aftermarket parts that will allow the Jeep to handle better both on and off the road. As he puts the new suspension in place, Mike also decides to replace the wheels and tires since the old ones are mismatched and worn out.
With the engine and suspension taken care of, Mike and Edd turn their attention to the body of the Jeep CJ7. They sand and repaint the exterior to bring it back to its original glory, and they replace any rusted or damaged components. Edd also installs a new soft top and side panels to give the Jeep a fresh look.
As the project nears completion, Mike and Edd take the Jeep CJ7 for a test drive to see how it handles. They're pleased to find that the new suspension and engine have really transformed the vehicle into a smooth-riding off-road machine that's ready to take on any challenge. They also note that the new soft top and side panels make the Jeep look more modern and attractive than ever before.
Overall, Mike and Edd are extremely proud of the work they've done on the Jeep CJ7. They've taken an old and worn-out vehicle and turned it into a beautiful and reliable off-road machine that's sure to impress any Jeep enthusiast. Fans won't want to miss this episode of Wheeler Dealers as Mike and Edd tackle one of the most iconic vehicles in the world.
