Ep 9. WTF

In episode 9 of What/If season 1, titled WTF, tensions come to a head as the characters face the consequences of their actions.

Lisa's increasingly reckless behavior puts her marriage with Sean in jeopardy. Sean becomes suspicious when Lisa starts withdrawing large sums of money from their joint account and hiding it from him. Lisa's mysterious actions lead Sean to confront her, causing an explosive argument that threatens to tear their marriage apart.

Meanwhile, Angela faces the fallout from her medical trial on behalf of Maddie, who's feeling worse instead of better. As Angela struggles with the guilt of potentially harming Maddie, her career is on the line as the board of directors questions her practices.

Simone's secret past is also revealed as we see flashbacks of her time in prison and how she became involved with The Doctor. Her past comes back to haunt her when The Doctor resurfaces and blackmails her into helping him commit a crime.

Things take an unexpected turn when Marcos discovers the true identity of the mysterious investor who's been funding Lisa's startup. The investor's identity will come as a surprise to viewers and the characters alike.

As the tension builds to a boiling point, the characters' relationships are tested like never before. Betrayals and secrets are exposed, and the characters must face the consequences of their choices.

In this penultimate episode, the stakes are higher than ever as the characters must navigate the consequences of their actions and face the shocking twists that will set up the explosive finale.
