What About Brian is a television series that ran on ABC from 2006 to 2007. The show starred Barry Watson as Brian Davis, a thirty-something guy who struggles with the idea of settling down and finding love amid his group of married and engaged friends. The show focused on the ups and downs of Brian's love life as he searched for the one.

The show opens with Brian as the last single man in his group of friends. He is painfully aware of his single status, especially since his best friend, Adam Hillman (Matthew Davis), is recently engaged to Marjorie Seaver (Sarah Lancaster), who is also Brian's ex-girlfriend. Brian spends most of his time bouncing between his friendships with Adam, Dave Greco (Rick Gomez), and Deena Greco (Amanda Detmer), who are married and expecting their first child; and Nicole Varzi (Rosanna Arquette), a divorced mother of two who is trying to put her life back together.

Throughout the series, Brian finds himself in various romantic situations. He dates a variety of women, including the beautiful and successful Bridget Keller (Krista Allen), his neighbor and coworker who provides a safety net for him; and Ivy (Jordana Brewster), a young and spirited girl who has a wild side that Brian finds attractive. He also briefly dates Heather (Jessica Szohr), a young woman he meets at a coffee shop, but their relationship quickly fizzles out.

One of the more interesting relationships in the show involves Brian's longtime friendship with Adam's fiancé Marjorie. The two have an instant connection, and Brian finds himself attracted to her even though she is engaged to his best friend. The tension between the two is palpable throughout the series, and viewers are left wondering if they will ever act on their feelings for each other.

In addition to its focus on relationships, What About Brian also deals with issues of family and career. Brian's relationship with his family is strained, particularly with his mother, Rosa (Barry's real-life stepmother, Raquel Welch), who seems to favor Brian's successful brother, Ken (Brian George), over him. Brian also struggles to find a fulfilling career, and throughout the series, he bounces from one job to another, trying to find his passion.

Overall, What About Brian is a charming and relatable show that explores the complexities of relationships and the search for true love. Barry Watson's performance as Brian is captivating, and viewers will find themselves rooting for him as he navigates the ups and downs of his love life. The show's focus on family and career also adds depth to the series, making it a well-rounded and enjoyable watch.
