In the eighth episode of the fifth season of Wentworth, titled "Think Inside The Box," tensions continue to rise within the walls of the prison. As the inmates struggle to maintain their power and alliances, a new threat emerges in the form of a new prisoner, a woman named Sonia Stevens.
Sonia is brought into Wentworth on suspicion of murder, and upon arriving, she immediately begins to assert her dominance over the other women. Her cool and calculated demeanor, combined with her intelligence and cunning, make her a force to be reckoned with.
While Sonia's presence poses a threat to the established hierarchy, the inmates also grapple with their own internal conflicts. Franky Doyle, who has been recently released from prison, struggles to adjust to life on the outside and find her place in the world. Meanwhile, Liz Birdsworth is haunted by the deadly consequences of her actions in the previous season.
However, the biggest challenge facing the inmates is the return of Joan Ferguson, who was believed to have been killed in the season four finale. Her reappearance sends shockwaves throughout the prison and the characters must confront their own beliefs and loyalties in the face of her return.
As tensions continue to escalate, the characters must rely on their wit and strength to navigate the dangerous world of Wentworth. "Think Inside The Box" is a thrilling and emotional episode that pushes the characters to their limits and sets the stage for a gripping conclusion to the season.
