Despite the mishap, Mr. Woodman's story is a hit and helps him come to terms with his retirement. Kotter also turns the incident into a valuable learning experience for his class, teaching them the importance of perseverance and teamwork. The episode ends on a positive note with the Sweathogs proudly presenting their successful and delicious new dish at the next school banquet.
