In "Occupy Bears," the 15th episode of the first season of We Bare Bears, we follow the three mischievous bears Grizz, Panda, and Ice Bear as they find their cozy cave home taken over by a group of (human) hipsters.
After being evicted from their own home, the bears are forced to live in the forest until they come up with a plan to reclaim their space. In the meantime, they start to observe the hipster group and find out that they are protesting against a new coffee shop that is being built in their favorite park.
The bears, being coffee lovers themselves, decide to help the hipsters in their cause against the corporation in charge of building the coffee shop. They go undercover as hipsters themselves, attending meetings and coming up with a plan to publicly protest against the corporation.
However, while the bears are busy with their activism, they soon realize that their tactic of slow-moving protests isn't working and the coffee shop is almost complete. In a last ditch effort, they come up with an unconventional, and slightly chaotic, plan to stop the construction of the coffee shop.
The plan involves a lot of bamboo, wooden fortresses, and a slingshot, but ultimately works out in the end. Along with the hipsters, the bears successfully stop the coffee shop construction and their actions even go viral, becoming the talk of the town.
The episode ends with the bears taking back their home from the hipsters and sitting comfortably together enjoying a cup of coffee. The hipsters thank the bears for their help, and while Grizz, Panda, and Ice Bear were happy to be a part of the cause, they were even happier to have their home back.
"Occupy Bears" is a cute and quirky episode that explores themes of activism, community, and the love for coffee. With the bears' out-of-the-box thinking and loveable personalities, this episode is sure to make you laugh and root for them as they try to stop the construction of the coffee shop.
