Artie, Pete, and Myka receive an urgent message from Mrs. Frederic to hand over a mysterious plaque. However, when they arrive at the warehouse, they discover that it is missing, forcing them to investigate its disappearance. Meanwhile, Claudia is left to deal with the newly recruited Steve Jinks, who seems to have his own agenda. As they dig deeper into the plaque's history, they uncover a surprising connection to a famous scientist and an infamous murderer. With time running out, the team must scramble to find the missing artifact before it falls into the wrong hands. Along the way, they must confront their own fears and weaknesses in order to bring the case to a successful conclusion.
