Wanda and the Alien is a British children's animated television series which was first aired on Channel 5's Milkshake! block in 2014. It was produced by the animation company Beakus and created by Bridget Hurst. The show comprises of 52 episodes, and each episode is 7 minutes long.

The central character of the series is Wanda, a six-year-old girl who lives with her parents and her dog, friends, and an imaginary Martian friend named Zok. Wanda is a brave and curious girl who loves to explore new things. She has a great imagination, and she often has fantastic ideas that she wants to put into action. Zok, her alien friend, helps her in realizing these ideas. Zok has come to Earth from Mars, and he is always wearing a spacesuit. He speaks in a high-pitched voice and often gets words twisted up. He is very friendly and always willing to help Wanda.

Each episode of Wanda and the Alien follows a similar pattern. Wanda has a problem or an idea, and she turns to her imaginary alien friend for help. Zok then uses his unique Martian abilities to help solve the problem. The problems the duo tackles are age-appropriate for small children, such as finding a lost toy, figuring out how to get to a friend's house, or searching for a favorite teddy bear.

The show's animation style is lovely, simple, and very colorful, and there is a lot of attention to detail in each scene. The backgrounds are carefully drawn, and the characters are well designed, with quirky features that give them charm and personality. The show's music is bright and jaunty, and it enhances the upbeat mood of the show.

The relationships between the characters in the show are sweet and wholesome. The relationship between Wanda and Zok is especially heartwarming. Wanda is very fond of her alien friend, and he is very protective of her. He often uses his inventiveness to come up with creative solutions to her problems, and she is always grateful to him for helping her out.

In addition to the central characters, the show also features Wanda's friends, Hector and Rosa. Hector is a fun-loving boy who likes to play on his scooter, while Rosa is a quiet girl who enjoys drawing. Both Hector and Rosa are supportive of Wanda and enjoy spending time with her and Zok.

Overall, Wanda and the Alien is a delightful show that is perfect for young children. The educational value of the show is in its ability to teach children about the importance of problem-solving and the value of friendship. The show is great for teaching kids about science in a fun way. The adventures of Wanda and her alien friend Zok on Earth are entertaining and imaginative, and the friendly tone of the show is perfect for small children.
