Wakaalat From Home is a new Indian comedy-drama series that follows the lives of two chaos-loving lawyers, who are forced to adapt to a new norm of working from home during the COVID-19 lockdown. In the third episode titled “Division”, the series takes a serious turn as the two main characters tackle the sensitive issue of divorce.

The episode begins with Sujin (played by Sumeet Vyas) receiving a call from his friend asking for his help in filing a divorce. Sujin, being a divorce lawyer, agrees to take up the case but gets into an argument with his work-partner, Radhika (played by Nidhi Singh), about division of property in divorce cases.

Radhika believes that people should be more empathetic towards each other during divorce settlements and come to a mutual agreement on the division of assets. Sujin, on the other hand, doesn't agree and thinks that his job is to get as much as he can for his clients, and that he is not responsible for their emotions.

As the two characters continue to bicker and argue, they finally come to a conclusion that they can only do justice to their clients by being fair and honest in their approach.

As the episode progresses, Sujin continues to work on his friend's divorce case. He fights tooth and nail to get the maximum possible share for his friend, even if it means going against Radhika's advice to be empathetic. Meanwhile, Radhika deals with a client who wants a divorce from her husband because of his extramarital affair.

The episode is a brilliant portrayal of the various emotions that people go through during a divorce. It showcases how the division of assets and property can bring out the worst in people even if they were once in love with each other. It also highlights the importance of lawyers being empathetic towards their clients and helping them navigate through this difficult phase of their life.

The show has a well-written script, backed by an amazing cast and brilliant cinematography. The use of video conferencing technology makes the episode feel more real, relatable and engaging.

Overall, “Division” is a must-watch episode for anyone who is going through a divorce, or knows someone who is. It gives a glimpse into the complexities of divorce settlements and helps in understanding the importance of being empathetic towards others. It also showcases the talent of the show's writers and actors in portraying a sensitive subject with the perfect mix of humor, drama and emotions.
