Ep 23. Grimlord's Greatest Hits

In the season 1 episode 23 of VR Troopers titled "Grimlord's Greatest Hits," the evil Grimlord creates a new monster, Stingbot, to destroy the Troopers and take over virtual reality. Meanwhile, Tao receives a package containing a CD containing Grimlord's greatest hits, but it is actually a trap to lure the Troopers into a deadly game.

As the Troopers listen to the CD, they are transported into a virtual world where they must battle a series of familiar monsters from previous episodes. Each time they defeat a monster, Grimlord sends a more powerful one in its place. The Troopers must use all their skills and knowledge of their past battles to survive and defeat the monsters.

While in the virtual world, Ryan has a run-in with an old nemesis, Cyclopter, who is using his new weapon, the CycloArcher, to attack the Troopers. Kaitlin is sent to stop Cyclopter while J.B. and Ryan take on the other monsters.

As the battle rages on, Grimlord reveals his plan to destroy the Troopers once and for all by launching virtual reality missiles at them. The Troopers must find and destroy the missile launchers before it's too late.

In the end, the Troopers emerge victorious against Grimlord and his minions. They destroy the missile launchers and make it back to reality unharmed. Tao reveals that he created the CD trap to trick Grimlord into revealing his plans, and the Troopers are hailed as heroes once again. However, they know that Grimlord will continue to be a threat and remain vigilant for his next attack.
