Ep 4. Lion Force: The Missing Key

In Voltron season 1 episode 4 titled Lion Force: The Missing Key, the five Paladins continue their mission to form Voltron and protect the universe from the evil Galra Empire. After narrowly escaping a battle with the Galra, the Paladins discover that the Red Lion's key is missing, rendering the lion unable to be piloted. Without the Red Lion, they are unable to form Voltron and their mission is in jeopardy.

Keith, the pilot of the Red Lion, takes it upon himself to find the missing key. He traces the Red Lion's previous movements and ultimately discovers that it was stolen by a thief named Rolo, who had been hired by the Galra. The team sets out to track down Rolo and retrieve the key.

Meanwhile, Princess Allura receives a distress signal from a nearby planet and decides to investigate with Coran. Upon landing on the planet, they discover a group of enslaved aliens who are being exploited for their resources by the Galra. Allura and Coran devise a plan to free the slaves and take down the Galra operation.

As Keith continues his mission to retrieve the key, he runs into unexpected obstacles and is eventually captured by the Galra. He is taken to their base and questioned by their leader, Zarkon, about the whereabouts of Voltron. Keith remains defiant, refusing to give up any information.

Back on the planet, Allura and Coran successfully free the enslaved aliens and their resources. However, the victory is short-lived as Zarkon and his army arrive on the scene, prepared to take down the Paladins and retrieve Voltron.

With Keith captured and Zarkon closing in, the remaining Paladins must work together to not only find the missing key, but also rescue their teammate and fend off the Galra. As the episode comes to a close, the fate of the mission and the universe hang in the balance. Will the Paladins be able to overcome these challenges and ultimately form Voltron to defeat the Galra Empire? Only time will tell.
