Ep 1. Harbour Street

Detective Chief Inspector Vera Stanhope returns for the fourth season of Vera, a British crime drama series. Harbour Street, the first episode of the season sees Vera and her team investigate the mysterious death of a promising young journalist, Gemma Wyatt.

The episode starts on the bleak Northumberland coastline, where Gemma Wyatt’s body has been found washed up on the shore. Vera’s team becomes frustrated with the lack of progress, and some of the Tullman family members turn on each other in an effort to protect themselves. Meanwhile, Vera battles her own personal demons as she grapples with a devastating loss.

As the pieces of the puzzle begin to fall into place, Vera and her team must race against time to prevent more tragedy and bring Gemma’s killer to justice.
