Ep 8. Bob Gets Glasses

Bob the Tomato is having trouble seeing clearly, so he goes to the eye doctor and discovers that he needs glasses. However, Bob is self-conscious about wearing glasses and worries that his friends will make fun of him. Despite their encouragement, Bob refuses to wear them and finds himself getting into all sorts of mishaps around the VeggieTales house. Meanwhile, the rest of the gang is dealing with their own problems. Larry the Cucumber is determined to win the annual Carrot Cup race, despite the fact that he's never won before. Junior Asparagus is struggling with a school project, and Petunia Rhubarb is trying to overcome her fear of performing in public. As Bob's friends try to help him embrace his new glasses, they also learn valuable lessons about perseverance, acceptance, and the importance of believing in oneself. In the end, Bob learns to love his glasses and even realizes that they make him look pretty cool. The gang comes together to cheer on Larry at the Carrot Cup race, Junior delivers an impressive school project, and Petunia performs like a pro. The episode ends with everyone celebrating their victories and learning to be proud of who they are, glasses or not.
