Ep 1. Summer Bodies

In season 5 episode 1 of Vanderpump Rules titled "Summer Bodies," the cast returns to SUR restaurant in West Hollywood after a tumultuous season 4. The episode starts with a bang as Jax, Katie, Tom Sandoval, Brittany, and Ariana arrive at the restaurant to start their summer jobs. Everyone seems excited to be back, except for Stassi, who has moved to New York City and is no longer a part of the SUR team.

As the cast members begin to settle back into their routine, the focus quickly shifts to their summer plans and getting their bodies in shape for the upcoming season. Meanwhile, Katie and Brittany are hitting the gym together, but Katie is having a hard time staying committed to her workout routine. She decides to try a juice cleanse in an attempt to jumpstart her weight loss, but it doesn't go quite as planned.

The drama doesn't take long to surface, as Stassi makes a surprise visit to LA and meets up with her former best friend, Katie. The two try to reconcile, but it's clear that there is still tension between them.

Later, the cast heads to Villa Rosa, Lisa Vanderpump's luxurious home, for a summer party. The event is filled with drama as Jax and Stassi have a tense confrontation, and Tom Schwartz gets blackout drunk and makes a fool of himself.
