Vampirina is excited to show her friend around and tries to make sure he has a good time. But when he starts to feel overwhelmed by all the spookiness, Vampirina must find a way to make him feel comfortable and show him that it's okay to be scared sometimes.
Meanwhile, back at school, Vampirina's teacher, Mrs. Nosy Neighbour, is away and has been replaced by a substitute teacher, who happens to be a real scarestitute. The class is excited for some spooky lessons but soon realizes that their new teacher is a little too intense and they begin to miss Mrs. Nosy Neighbour.

At the same time, the students at school try to find a way to cope with their new substitute teacher, who is making their lessons a little too scary for comfort.
