Upin & Ipin is a Malaysian animated television series that follows the adventures of two young brothers who live with their grandmother in a village. The show has gained tremendous popularity since its inception and is loved by audiences all over the world. In Upin & Ipin season 3 episode 1, titled 'Air Kolah, Air Laut (1)', the brothers find themselves enjoying a day at the beach and get into a series of misadventures.

The episode begins with Upin, Ipin, and their friends, Ehsan, Fizi, and Mail, visiting the beach. Once they arrive, they waste no time in having fun and playing in the water. Upin and Ipin particularly enjoy jumping over waves and creating sandcastles. However, when they become thirsty, they realize that they have forgotten to pack drinks.

Fizi, being the ever-resourceful one, suggests that they drink the water from the sea. Upin and Ipin are hesitant at first, but Fizi assures them that it's safe to drink. As they drink the sea water, they realize it tastes salty and unpalatable. Confused, they ask Fizi why it tastes so bad. He then explains that while the water from the ocean may look clean, it's actually filled with salt and other toxins that can harm the human body.

Just then, a man selling coconut water approaches them, and Ehsan suggests they buy some to quench their thirst. The man explains that he has water from a freshwater spring (Air Kolah) and saltwater from the ocean (Air Laut) and asks which one they would like. The children opt for the freshwater, but Fizi is curious about the ocean water's taste and asks for a glass.

Fizi's first sip of the saltwater takes him by surprise, and he exclaims that it's delicious. The rest of the gang is disgusted and tries to persuade Fizi not to drink it. However, Fizi is stubborn and decides that he will only drink the saltwater from then on. He continually drinks the ocean water throughout the day, despite everyone else warning him against it.

As the day progresses, Fizi begins to feel unwell. He starts to feel dizzy, his stomach begins to hurt, and he develops a headache. His friends notice he's not feeling well and express their concern. Fizi brushes off their worries, claiming that he knows what he's doing and refuses to stop drinking the ocean water.

Later that day, when the children return home, Fizi's condition worsens, and he becomes very ill. His parents rush him to the hospital, where the doctor diagnoses him with severe dehydration and asks him what he has been drinking. Fizi sheepishly admits that he's been drinking saltwater, to which the doctor reprimands him for his risky behavior and prescribes him medication to rehydrate him.

The episode ends with Fizi recovering from his illness and realizing the dangers of drinking saltwater. He apologizes to his friends and promises never to do something so foolish again.

In conclusion, 'Air Kolah, Air Laut (1)' is a cautionary tale about the dangers of drinking saltwater. The episode is an excellent tool for parents to teach their children about the importance of making wise choices when it comes to their health and safety. The show is not only entertaining but also educational, making it an ideal program for children of all ages. With engaging storylines, lovable characters, and valuable life lessons, Upin & Ipin continues to be a beloved television series that families can enjoy together.
