Ep 3. The Job

Emma Roberts stars as Addie Singer, the lovable and quirky teenager navigating the ups and downs of middle school in the hit series Unfabulous. In season 2, episode 3 titled "The Job," Addie finds herself in a brand new adventure as she tries to land her first job, all while dealing with the usual dramas of school and friendships.

She approaches the store owner, Mr. Sarisky (Ron Canada), and convinces him that her passion for books makes her the perfect candidate.

Meanwhile, Addie's friends Geena and Zach decide to support her in her job-hunting mission. They offer help and advice, and together, they come up with a plan to create a professional-looking resume for Addie. With their assistance, Addie's resume becomes a reflection of her unique personality and showcases her various talents and skills.

As Addie gains confidence in her job search, she begins to envision herself working at Books & Nooks. She starts imagining all the exciting possibilities of being surrounded by books and helping customers find their next favorite read. Addie's determination shines through as she prepares for her interview with Mr. Sarisky.

On the day of the interview, Addie arrives at Books & Nooks dressed in her best outfit, ready to impress Mr. Sarisky and secure her dream job. However, as the interview progresses, Addie realizes that Mr. Sarisky might not be as enthusiastic about hiring her as she initially thought. Doubt begins to creep in, and Addie questions whether her dream of working at the bookstore might be just that – a dream.

As Addie grapples with the uncertainty of her job prospects, her friends Geena and Zach continue to support her. They cheer her up with encouraging words and remind her of her unique qualities that make her special. With her friends' support, Addie musters up the courage to confront her fears and push through her doubts.
