The episode begins with Jurnee Smollett-Bell's character, Rosalee, attempting to gain the trust of a group of prisoners in the hopes of enlisting their help with her mission of rescuing her family members who are also incarcerated. Meanwhile, her mother Ernestine is struggling to cope with her own imprisonment, as she is forced to endure cruel treatment at the hands of the guards.
As tensions within the prison mount, Noah (Aldis Hodge) and Cato (Alano Miller) team up to create a distraction that will allow Rosalee to carry out her plan. However, when unexpected obstacles arise, they realize that they may have bitten off more than they can chew.
In the midst of all this, Elizabeth (Jessica De Gouw) is forced to confront the brutal realities of life on the run, as she and her baby struggle to survive in the wilderness. Her growing desperation leads her to make a reckless decision that could have grave consequences for everyone involved.
Despite the challenges they face, the characters refuse to give up on their fight for freedom and justice. As the episode comes to a close, they band together to face their biggest challenge yet, determined to emerge victorious no matter what the cost.
