UFC Fight Night season 9 episode 25, also known as UFC Fight Night 82, features a highly anticipated matchup between Alexander Gustafsson and Anthony Johnson. The event takes place at the Tele2 Arena in Stockholm, Sweden, and is headlined by the light heavyweight bout between Gustafsson and Johnson.
Gustafsson, also known as "The Mauler," is a Swedish fighter with a record of 16-3. He is known for his excellent striking and high volume output, as well as his ability to stuff takedowns. Gustafsson's last fight was a decision victory over Jan Blachowicz in September 2019.
Johnson, a former welterweight and middleweight, has found great success at light heavyweight, where he is 10-2. Known for his devastating knockout power, Johnson has finished 16 of his 22 wins by KO or TKO. His most recent fight was a submission loss to Daniel Cormier in May 2015.
Along with the main event, UFC Fight Night 82 also features several other exciting matchups. In the co-main event, light heavyweight prospect Ilir Latifi takes on veteran Jan Blachowicz. Latifi, who trains out of Allstars Training Center alongside Gustafsson, is looking to build on his four-fight win streak.
