Tyler Perry's Young Dylan follows the adventures of a young boy named Dylan who moves from his hometown to live with his uncle, aunt, and cousins in their upscale suburb. In season 1 episode 12, titled "Special Delivery," Dylan and his cousin Rebecca attempt to thwart a thief who has been stealing packages from their neighborhood.
The episode opens with the family discussing how their packages have been going missing, and Dylan suggests they set a trap to catch the thief. After some convincing, Rebecca agrees to help him, and they begin to prepare the trap.

Feeling disappointed, Dylan and Rebecca return home, and Dylan decides to take matters into his own hands. He borrows a walkie-talkie from his cousin and sets out to find the thief himself. He eventually stumbles upon the thief's hideout and discovers that he has been stealing packages to take care of his sick daughter.
Dylan realizes that the thief is not a bad person, and he decides to help him by collecting donations from the neighborhood. The family comes together to help the thief and his daughter by delivering food, clothes, and medicine, and they are all touched by the generosity of their community.
As the episode comes to a close, Myles learns that he will not be losing his job, and the family basks in the warm feeling of helping someone in need. "Special Delivery" highlights the importance of being a good neighbor and the power of kindness. It also showcases Dylan's resourcefulness and his determination to do what is right.
