Off Limits is the second episode in Season 3 of Tyler Perry's The Oval. The show continues to follow the drama-filled lives of the President of the United States, Hunter Franklin, his First Lady Victoria Franklin and the various staff members that work in The Oval.
In this episode, tensions rise as Hunter Franklin (played by Ed Quinn) becomes more paranoid about the people around him. After a disastrous meeting with the Russian Ambassador, Hunter begins to worry that someone in his inner circle might be leaking information to foreign governments. He enlists the help of his head of security, Sam (played by Brad Benedict), to get to the bottom of the situation.
Meanwhile, Victoria Franklin (played by Kron Moore) struggles with her new role as a mother. She wants to spend more time with her infant son, but finds it difficult to balance her duties as First Lady with her desire to be a good parent. Her frustrations come to a head when she is denied access to a room in The Oval that Hunter has declared "off limits."
Throughout the episode, various staff members interact with each other, revealing more about their own personal lives and struggles. Priscilla (played by Taja V. Simpson), the White House Press Secretary, tries to get closer to her crush, White House Chief of Staff Donald Winthrop (played by Ptosha Storey). Kyle (played by Javon Johnson), the White House butler, deals with his own personal issues while trying to stay out of the political fray.
As the episode comes to a close, tensions continue to escalate between Hunter and Victoria, laying the foundation for more drama and intrigue in the episodes to come.
