Ep 6. Down and Outted

Ella, the matriarch of the Payne family, is feeling overwhelmed as she tries to juggle her job as a nurse, running her household, and helping to take care of her grandchildren. When her sister, Janine, comes to visit, Ella opens up to her about her struggles. Janine encourages Ella to take some time for herself and offers to take care of the kids for a few days.

Meanwhile, Curtis finally gets a job offer but it is not quite what he was hoping for. He feels embarrassed to take the job but ultimately decides to accept it, knowing how much his family needs the income. Through his struggles, Curtis learns the importance of humility and perseverance.

The episode ends with the Payne family coming together to support each other through their ups and downs. They realize that no matter what challenges they face, they can always count on each other to be there.
