Two Minute Tales is a unique show that takes its audience on a journey of the unknown and the unexpected. Each episode will hold you captive as you listen to a short story presented in a two-minute format. Season 1 episode 11 titled "The Forest of Lost Things" will leave you on the edge of your seat.

The episode begins with the story of a young girl named Emily, who is lost in a dense forest. Her mother had warned her about getting lost in the woods, but Emily was tired of being stuck indoors and ventured out into the lush greenery. With each passing moment, Emily becomes more and more anxious. She had her survival kit, but the forest seemed endless, and she could not find her way out.

As she stumbled upon the clearing, Emily saw a peculiar sight. An old man was sitting on a log, surrounded by piles of lost items. There were everything from keys to glasses, wallets, and even a bicycle. Emily was puzzled and asked the old man about the lost things. The old man explained that he had been collecting the lost items in the forest for many years.

When Emily asked the old man how he knew where to find these lost things, the old man replied that he sensed their presence. He would then search for the lost objects until he found them. Emily thought this was extraordinary and asked the old man if he could help her find her way back home. The old man thought for a moment and replied that he could only help her retrieve the lost things and not guide her out of the woods. Emily felt disappointed and went on her way.

As Emily walked further in the forest, she found herself running out of supplies. She was feeling hungrier by the minute and could not even find a single berry to eat. Emily tripped while walking and landed on a pile of leaves. When she tried to get up, she found herself lying in a wooden room lit only by a single candle.

Emily was dumbfounded and began to panic. The room had no doors or windows, and there was no way out. She had no idea how she got there or what to do. As she was searching for a way out, Emily caught a glimpse of some lost items scattered around the room. That’s when she remembered the old man in the forest and realized that he must have sensed her presence.

Emily gathered all her strength and called out for the old man. Within seconds, the old man appeared at the door. Emily asked him how she got there and how she could get out. The old man explained that he had sensed her presence and, in the process of retrieving her lost things, inadvertently led her to his lost cabin.

However, he revealed that he would not be able to guide her out of the forest, but he could gift her a compass that would help guide her way and possibly lead her out of the woods. Emily felt grateful and thanked the old man for all his help.

As Emily walked, she realized that the gift of the compass was much greater than she had initially thought. She wandered through the woods for what felt like an eternity, using the compass as her guide. After several hours of walking, Emily finally emerged from the forest. She was exhausted but relieved and overjoyed to be safe and reunited with her mother.

With a heartfelt message, the story ends, “Just like Emily, sometimes we are lost. All it takes to find our way is a little courage, a belief that we can find our own way, and sometimes, a small gift from a stranger.”

This story of hope, courage, and the will to survive, in just two minutes time, is what makes Two Minute Tales an excellent show and perfect for those with a short attention span. The Forest of Lost Things leaves viewers wanting more and eagerly anticipating the next episode.
