Alan and Walden are faced with a dilemma when Lyndsey's grandmother passes away and leaves them her beautiful villa in Italy. However, they quickly realize they cannot afford to keep the villa and maintain it. In an effort to make some quick cash, Walden decides to rent the villa out to a wealthy business executive, but the situation quickly spirals out of control when the executive's daughter shows up unexpectedly.
Meanwhile, Alan struggles with his relationship with Lyndsey and begins to question whether or not he truly loves her. He seeks advice from his best friend, but Walden's recent marital problems make him an unreliable source of guidance. In an attempt to clear his head, Alan takes a trip to a nearby bakery, where he becomes entranced with one of the shop's delicious pies.
Back at the villa, Walden finds himself dealing with the executive's daughter, who is proving to be quite a handful. Despite her rebellious behavior and wild partying, Walden attempts to keep the peace and avoid any unnecessary drama. However, things take a turn for the worse when the girl accidentally breaks a valuable artifact in the villa, forcing Walden to confront her father.
As tensions rise and the situation becomes increasingly complicated, Alan begins to realize that he is truly in love with Lyndsey and wants to be with her forever. He shares his feelings with Walden, who is surprised but ultimately supportive. With his newfound confidence, Alan returns to the villa to confront his fears and help Walden sort out the chaos.
In the end, the duo manages to resolve the situation with the business executive and his daughter, and Alan decides to finally commit to Lyndsey. As the episode comes to a close, the pair sit down to enjoy a slice of pie and reflect on the wild adventure they have been through.
