Ep 16. Tinkle Like a Princess

Alan has been struggling to find a job since he was fired from his previous job as a chiropractor. As a result, he has been behind on his rent and his landlord, Mrs. McMartin, has been pressuring him to pay up. To make matters worse, she has also been insisting that Alan help her fix some things around the building.

While Alan is working on fixing the plumbing in the building, he discovers that his ex-wife Judith's new husband Herb is having an affair with a young woman named Celeste. Alan decides to tell Judith about Herb's infidelity, but Judith brushes it off and tells him to mind his own business.

Meanwhile, Charlie is trying to win back his girlfriend Chelsea's affections after a fight they had the night before. He enlists the help of his friend Herb, who suggests that Charlie try to "tinkle like a princess" to make Chelsea laugh and forget about their fight. Charlie is skeptical, but desperate, and he ends up enlisting Alan's help in perfecting his princess tinkling technique.

As Charlie and Alan work on perfecting Charlie's tinkling skills, they are interrupted by Chelsea's arrival at the house. To their surprise, she is not amused by Charlie's attempt at tinkling like a princess, and ends up breaking up with him.

In the end, Alan confronts Herb about his infidelity and Herb ends up coming clean to Judith. Charlie, on the other hand, is left alone to ponder the futility of trying to win back love by tinkling like a princess.
