In the episode "Corey's Been Dead for an Hour" from season 4 of Two and a Half Men, Alan (played by Jon Cryer) discovers that his girlfriend Kandi (played by April Bowlby) is pregnant with his child. Meanwhile, Charlie (played by Charlie Sheen) becomes obsessed with a woman he met at the gym and convinces Alan to accompany him to a restaurant where she works.
When they arrive, they find out that the woman, named Sherri (played by Jeri Ryan), is having a party at her house that evening. Charlie and Alan decide to attend the party but are surprised to find out that it is a wake for Sherri's nephew, Corey, who has recently passed away.
Despite being initially uncomfortable, Charlie and Alan soon become the life of the party as they forget the somber occasion and enjoy the free food and drinks. However, their antics eventually lead to them being thrown out of the party and left stranded without a ride home.
Trapped and with no other options, Charlie and Alan are forced to call Judith (played by Marin Hinkle), Alan's ex-wife, to come pick them up. Upon their return home, Charlie reveals to Alan that he actually faked being interested in Sherri to get out of the house and away from Kandi's impending pregnancy news.
Meanwhile, Kandi has shared the news of her pregnancy with her family, who don't exactly receive it well. Finally, in the end, Alan decides to embrace fatherhood and goes to Kandi's apartment to share the news with her, where Kandi reveals that she has a surprise of her own.
Overall, this episode of Two and a Half Men explores the complexities of love, family, and unexpected surprises, all while maintaining the show's trademark humor and wit.
