In Two and a Half Men season 4 episode 10, titled "Kissing Abraham Lincoln," Charlie Harper (Charlie Sheen) is left with Alan Harper's (Jon Cryer) son, Jake (Angus T. Jones), for the weekend. In usual fashion, Charlie plans to have a weekend of debauchery with his nephew. However, Jake asks if they can go to the cinema to watch a movie about Abraham Lincoln.
While at the cinema, Charlie meets a beautiful woman named Joanne (Gail O'Grady). Joanne happens to have a son who is around the same age as Jake, and they all agree to go out for dinner together. During dinner, Jake becomes smitten with Joanne's son and Charlie with Joanne herself.
In the meantime, Alan (Jon Cryer) is worried about his ex-wife Judith (Marin Hinkle) remarrying and trying to get Charlie and he to bond during a dance class. Alan tries to hide his true motive from Charlie, but Charlie sees right through him. When Alan reveals his true motives, Charlie refuses to go to the dance class.
Later that night, Charlie invites Joanne over while her son is at a slumber party. They begin to make out on Charlie's couch when Jake walks in on them. Charlie tries to explain away the situation, but Jake isn't having any of it. The next morning, Joanne comes over to talk to Charlie and tells him that she's not interested in being another one of his conquests.
In the end, Charlie and Jake bond over a shared love of Abraham Lincoln and decide to watch the movie together. Alan comes home from his dance class, happy and thinking that he had a good time with Charlie. When he finds out that Charlie and Jake watched the movie instead of going to the dance class, he is disappointed and angry.
"Kissing Abraham Lincoln" is a hilarious episode that showcases the relationships between the Harper men and how they struggle to connect with each other. With Charlie's misadventures and Alan's attempts to be a good father, this episode is a must-watch for fans of the show.
