Ep 3. A Bag Full of Jawea

Alan and Charlie receive a surprise visit from their mother, Evelyn Harper. As usual, Evelyn has a hidden motive for her visit, and it involves getting her hands on a valuable family heirloom - a set of pearls known as Jawea.

However, brewing trouble between Evelyn and her former lover Marty (played by Bob Odenkirk) complicates things. Marty happens to be the owner of the pearls and he wants them back, creating an awkward situation for the Harper family.

Meanwhile, Jake faces a dilemma of his own when he is tasked with writing a report on a book he hasn't read yet. He turns to Charlie for help, who in turn enlists Rose - his stalker and occasional lover - for assistance.

As tensions rise within the Harper house over the Jawea pearls, hilarious hijinks ensue as Charlie and Alan try to figure out how to deal with their conniving mother and her deceitful ex-lover. Will the family be able to keep their prized pearls out of Marty's grasp? Will Jake be able to finish his book report in time? Tune in to find out!
