Ep 14. Those Big Pink Things With Coconuts

Alan has decided to sell Judith's old engagement ring and use the money to buy a sports car, much to the disappointment of Charlie. Meanwhile, Jake is suffering from a school project on a nocturnal animal. While trying to help Jake with the project, Charlie and Alan come across Rose playing beach volleyball. Rose invites them to a party but Alan and Charlie soon discover that the party is for people who are subscribers of adult magazines. They also discover that there is a theme to the party, and the theme is "big pink things with coconuts". Charlie quickly loses interest but Alan stays on, hoping to sell the ring to one of the partygoers. After realizing that he has no luck selling the ring, Alan decides to propose to Rose, thinking she is the best thing that ever happened to him. When Charlie finds out about the proposal, he tries to stop it, blaming the alcohol for Alan's sudden decision. In the end, Alan changes his mind and decides not to propose to Rose. Jake eventually solves his project with the help of Charlie, who happens to have a raccoon in his garage. Meanwhile, Judith is dating her gynecologist and giving him free dental work in return for his services.
