Of Course He's Dead - Part One is the fifteenth episode of the twelfth and final season of the popular sitcom Two and a Half Men. The episode opens with a quick recap of the events leading up to this point, highlighting Walden's marriage to Alan's ex-wife, Bridget, Alan's newfound success as a children's author, and the return of Charlie Harper, who was thought to have died years earlier.
The episode begins with Alan and Walden trying to figure out how to tell Bridget that they had inadvertently killed her ex-husband, Gordon. They are worried that Bridget will be upset with them, but they are also relieved that they don't have to deal with Gordon anymore. Despite Walden's attempts to keep the news from Bridget, she finds out and is understandably upset.
Meanwhile, Alan is having trouble dealing with the fact that he played a role in Gordon's death. He is racked with guilt and is unable to sleep without having nightmares about it. Walden tries to help him by suggesting that they go to therapy together, but Alan is resistant.
Charlie Harper, who was thought to have died years earlier, is seen talking to a mysterious woman. He reveals that he has been living in Paris and faked his own death to get away from everyone. However, the woman tells him that his past has caught up with him and he needs to come back to Los Angeles.
Back at the beach house, Bridget is still upset with Walden and Alan. She tells them that they need to get their story straight about what happened to Gordon. She also reveals that she has some news of her own - she is pregnant.
As the episode comes to a close, Walden and Alan are visited by a woman claiming to be Charlie's daughter. She tells them that Charlie is dead and that she wants to collect his royalties from the jingle he wrote. Walden and Alan are skeptical of her claims, but they decide to investigate further.
Overall, Of Course He's Dead - Part One sets the stage for what promises to be an exciting and emotional final few episodes of Two and a Half Men. The episode is equal parts hilarious and touching, as we see the characters deal with the consequences of their actions and confront some of their biggest fears.
