In season 12 episode 13 of Two and a Half Men titled "Boompa Loved His Hookers," Alan Harper, played by Jon Cryer, receives a visit from his estranged father, who has just been released from prison. When Boompa, played by Martin Mull, arrives at the Harper household, he brings with him plenty of baggage and eccentricities that drive Alan and Walden, played by Ashton Kutcher, up the wall.
One of the main plot points of the episode revolves around the titular hooker-loving Boompa. Despite his advanced age, the man confesses to his family that he used to frequent brothels back in the day and -- to everyone's shock -- continues to do so to this day. As you might expect, this creates a lot of awkward and hilarious moments for Alan and Walden, who are tasked with keeping Boompa from getting into even more trouble.
Another storyline in "Boompa Loved His Hookers" revolves around Walden's newfound passion project. In an effort to fill the void left by his failed marriage, the tech entrepreneur decides to build a spaceship and go to space. This, of course, strikes everyone else in the episode as crazy and impractical, and leads to some of the more absurd moments in the show's history.
Throughout the episode, there are plenty of hijinks and zany situations as the Harper family deals with Boompa and his various quirks. Though many of the jokes are a bit crude (as is typical of Two and a Half Men), there is a bit of heart in the episode, particularly in the interactions between Boompa and his grandson Jake, played by Angus T. Jones.
All in all, "Boompa Loved His Hookers" is a fitting capstone to the twelfth and final season of Two and a Half Men. It's a funny, irreverent episode that fans of the show will likely appreciate. While it may not be the show's best episode ever, it's certainly one that will leave viewers laughing and wishing for more.
