Two and a Half Men season 10 episode 2, "A Big Bag of Dog," centers around Alan and Lyndsey's attempts to settle into a more serious relationship. After a night together, Alan realizes that he had forgotten his heart medication at his ex-wife's house, and so he convinces Lyndsey to accompany him as he retrieves it.
However, the two run into a problem when Lyndsey's dog, Beans, goes missing. Lyndsey's neighbor, Gretchen, a heavily tattooed woman who is devoted to animal rescue, offers to help them search for the pet. The trio sets out to comb the streets and alleys of the neighborhood, and they quickly discover that Beans has been taken in by Jake's stoned and scatterbrained girlfriend, Tammy.
While trying to retrieve the dog from Tammy, Alan and Lyndsey discover that the young woman has also taken one of Alan's pills, confusing it for a recreational drug. The two try to help Tammy come down from the effects of the medication, leading to a string of humorous and awkward moments throughout the episode.
Meanwhile, Walden finds himself struggling to accept the fact that he no longer has a wife, and he attempts to fill the void left by his failed marriage by getting a new pet - a large, unruly puppy. This causes tension between the two men, as Alan is forced to contend with a rambunctious dog on top of his already stressful search for Beans.
The episode is a lighthearted and entertaining romp through the familiar comedic territory that Two and a Half Men is known for. The characters are as witty and charming as ever, and the interplay between the cast is as enjoyable as ever. "A Big Bag of Dog" is a great addition to the series, and a fun way to catch up with the beloved characters of the show.
