Alan and Walden are finally back in the tenth season of "Two and a Half Men." The first episode, "I Changed My Mind About the Milk," starts with Alan and Walden trying to get rid of Walden's ex-wife's belongings from the beach house. However, they quickly realize that the task is easier said than done, as Walden's new girlfriend, Zoey, is not happy about the former Mrs. Schmidt's presence in the house.
Meanwhile, Jake returns from the army, but he's not the same person he used to be. Alan and Walden struggle to understand why Jake has changed so much, and they try to help him understand that he needs to make some changes if he wants to have a successful life.
Elsewhere, Berta's granddaughter, as she calls her, moves in with Berta, and the two of them become fast friends. However, it's clear that the young girl is troubled, and Berta worries about her safety.
As the episode progresses, the various storylines slowly start to intertwine. Alan and Walden try to help Jake become a more responsible adult, and they turn to the only person they believe can help them: Charlie's ghost.
It's a touching moment that reveals how much Alan and Walden still miss their old friend, and it's a reminder that no matter how much the show changes, the bond between the three main characters will always be the heart of the show.
In the end, "I Changed My Mind About the Milk" is a strong start to the tenth season of "Two and a Half Men." It's funny, heartfelt, and touching, and it's clear that the writers are still finding new ways to keep the show fresh.
