Cooper and Diane travel through various dimensions until they arrive at a portal where they must face their own doppelgängers or "tulpa." Meanwhile, back in Twin Peaks, Sheriff Truman and the gang come closer to solving the mystery of Major Briggs' disappearance. Audrey Horne makes a startling return amidst a tense confrontation with her husband. Elsewhere, Bad Cooper continues his search for coordinates that will lead him to "Judy." As the stakes are raised and more players emerge, it becomes clear that the fate of Twin Peaks hangs in the balance.
