Turner & Hooch season 1 episode 6 is titled "The Fur-gitive." The episode begins with Scott investigating a robbery case at the airport where a valuable painting worth millions of dollars has been stolen from a wealthy businessman. While investigating the case, Scott discovers that Hooch has eaten part of the evidence, a fur from the thief's coat.
Scott, Jessica, and Hooch begin their investigation to track down the thief. However, as they work on the case, they realize that Hooch is now the prime suspect since the stolen fur was found in his stool. This leads to Hooch being taken into custody by the local Animal Control agency.
Scott realizes that he needs to clear Hooch's name and find the real thief. With the help of the animal control officer, Scott is able to break Hooch out of custody and set out to find the real thief.
While investigating the case, they come across a suspect who had a strong motive for stealing the painting. The suspect tries to cover his tracks by planting a fake fur from Hooch in his apartment, but Scott sees through the ploy and realizes that the fur is fake.
Scott and Hooch are able to catch the real thief, who confesses to the crime and is taken into custody. With the case solved, Hooch's good name is restored and he is able to return to the police force with his partner, Scott.
The episode ends with Scott and Jessica bonding over their shared love for Hooch and admiring the loyal dog's ability to solve crimes in his own unique way. The episode leaves viewers with a heartwarming feeling and a reminder of the special bond between humans and their furry companions.
