Tsurezure Children is an anime romantic-comedy series that premiered in the summer of 2017. The plot of the show revolves around a group of high school students who are all experiencing love and relationships. Each episode focuses on different pairs of characters and their unique stories, and how they deal with the ups and downs of being in love for the first time.

The show is based on a manga of the same name, created by Toshiya Wakabayashi. The series was directed by Hiraku Kaneko and produced by Studio Gokumi. The first season of the show consists of twelve episodes, each one is around 12 minutes long.

The central characters of the show are various high school students; each episode focuses on a different pair of students as they navigate the complexities of modern romance. Some of the main students featured in the series are Takurou Sugawara, an easygoing guy who is in love with his best friend, Ayaka Kamine; Chizuru Takano, a shy girl who is trying to tell her childhood friend, Souta Mochizuki, how she really feels about him; and Haruhiko Takase, a popular boy who is interested in a girl named Saki Kanda, and so on.

Each episode of the show is presented with a series of short vignettes, showing intimate and relatable moments between each couple. The tone of the show is portray the emotions and feelings of young love in a light-hearted and humorous way, with each couple having their own unique quirks and personalities.

Kurihara asks Yamane to meet her behind the school building, but he chickens out and calls Motoyama for backup. Goda doesn't notice that he's made his girlfriend jealous. Chiaki and Kana try to improve their relationship, but just make it more awkward.

Sugawara and Takano stare at each other—secretly. Takase and Kanda somehow get friend-zoned. Kamine wants a second kiss, but Goda thinks something is amiss. Minagawa gets seriously serious with Furuya.

Kamine and Goda are struggling with snuggling. Chiaki and Kana try to get to first base. Akagi goads Kaji into letting him cop a feel. Hosogawa wants Katori so badly, she's willing to risk her life.

Kanda decides to text her confession to her crush, Takase. Kaga's childhood friend, Nanase, joins the astronomy club, but she seems to have an ulterior motive. Goda and Kamine are finally dating, but he has trouble communicating his feelings.

Kana finds Chiaki's porn, and so they get it on. Kaji calls Akagi out on manipulating her. Minagawa tortures Furuya with mind games some more. Takano is still denser than lead.

Chiaki and Kana have apparently been dating for a year, but you wouldn't know it. Sugawara offers to help Takano with cleaning duty. He thinks she thinks he thinks she thinks he's asking her out.

Furuya's sister, Hotaru, doesn't want him dating Minagawa -- or anyone, for that matter. Kaga has a hard time caring about anything, and Sasahara has a hard time pitching anything -- especially the astronomy club.

Takase's crush wants to talk to him about something, but she beats around the bush. Minagawa confesses to Furuya-kun -- or does she? Akagi catches Kaji smoking. He could rat her out, but he has different plans.
