Ep 3. The Goal of Glory

The Goal of Glory is the third episode of season 2 of the Tsubasa Chronicles. The group also learns about a legend surrounding the Sword of Seraphim, which says that the sword will glow if it comes into contact with the person who has the potential to become a great warrior. Tomoyo tells Syaoran that the sword has not glowed for a very long time, and it is believed that the legend may not be true.

The group decides to investigate, and they head to the colosseum, where they witness an epic battle between two gladiators. During the battle, the sword glows, indicating that one of the fighters possesses the potential to become a great warrior. Syaoran and his group soon discover that the person who possesses the potential is a young boy named Eriol, who is an orphan.

Syaoran decides to train Eriol so that he can win the Sword of Seraphim and help the group find one of the Princess Sakura's memories. Meanwhile, Kurogane and Fai decide to investigate some strange happenings in Celes, which involve the sudden appearance of portals that whisk people away to different dimensions.

As the group spends more time in Celes, they soon realize that something sinister is happening in the country. The citizens of Celes are facing a challenging time with the frequent disappearances. Moreover, they learn that the Sword of Seraphim has become a symbol of oppression and domination by the corrupt government officials.

The group decides to help the citizens of Celes by revealing the truth about the Sword of Seraphim and unmasking the corrupt officials. Meanwhile, Eriol continues his training diligently, and the group believes that he has what it takes to win the Sword of Seraphim.
