In this episode, the group arrives in a new world, Shura country, where they see a sky filled with red feathers. They meet a girl named Suiro, who gives them a warning about a cursed sword and an evil spirit that resides within the country.

The group decides to investigate and finds out about a man named Seishiro, who is the owner of the sword. He tells them the story of his father, who created the sword to defeat a monster threatening the country. However, the sword has a curse that will take the life of the person who wields it. Seishiro reveals that he has been using the sword to fight against the evil spirit, but it is taking a toll on him.

As the group tries to help Seishiro, they encounter the evil spirit, which possesses Sakura. Syaoran tries to retrieve her memories, but the spirit takes control of Sakura's body and attacks them. In the midst of the battle, Sakura starts crying, but there are no tears coming out. Mokona senses that something is wrong and realizes that the curse of the sword is affecting her emotions.

With no other choice, Seishiro decides to use the cursed sword to defeat the evil spirit. However, it will cost him his life. Before he wields the sword, he asks Syaoran to keep his promise of protecting Sakura and asks Sakura to cry tears for him. Seishiro fights and defeats the evil spirit, but he dies from the curse of the sword.

Sakura finally cries tears for Seishiro, and the group retrieves her memory fragment, which was held by the evil spirit. They bid farewell to Suiro and continue their journey to other worlds.

The episode focuses on the theme of sacrifice, as Seishiro sacrifices his life to protect his country and defeat the evil spirit. It also explores the idea of the consequences of using weapons and the cost of fighting against evil. The episode ends on a somber note, with the group mourning the loss of Seishiro but also recognizing the importance of their mission to retrieve Sakura's memories.
