Ep 22. Unerasable Memories

Syaoran, Kurogane, and Fai continue their journey to retrieve Sakura's memories. They arrive in a town where they encounter a mysterious woman named Yuuko, who appears to have knowledge about their journey. She gives them a mission to retrieve a powerful feather that has fallen into the hands of a wealthy family. They agree to take on the mission and head to the family's mansion.

Once inside the mansion, they encounter a young girl named Nokoru who takes an interest in Syaoran. She offers to help them retrieve the feather, but they soon realize that she has her own agenda. Nokoru reveals that she is the last surviving member of her family, and she intends to use the feather to bring her family back to life. Fai warns her about the dangers of meddling with magic, but she dismisses his warnings.

As they continue to search for the feather, they are ambushed by a group of ninja assassins. Kurogane, Syaoran, and Fai defend themselves against the assassins, but Nokoru is kidnapped during the scuffle. They also discover that the feather they were looking for is a fake.

They regroup and try to come up with a plan to rescue Nokoru. Yuuko appears and offers to help them, but warns that their actions will have consequences. They agree to her terms and she transports them to the ninja's secret hideout.

They find Nokoru, who has been locked up and is being used as bait to lure out Syaoran. The leader of the ninja clan, named Seishiro, reveals that he has been waiting for Syaoran to retrieve the feather in order to confront him. Seishiro and Syaoran battle it out, and it becomes clear that Seishiro has information about Syaoran's past.

In the midst of the battle, Nokoru escapes and tries to retrieve the feather to bring her family back to life. She is stopped by Fai, who reminds her about the consequences of using magic. Nokoru comes to her senses and hands the feather over to Syaoran.

Syaoran and Seishiro continue to fight, and Seishiro reveals that he was hired by Fei Wong Reed to keep tabs on him. Seishiro tells Syaoran that he must retrieve all of Sakura's memories for the sake of the world, and that he must make a choice between Sakura and his own desires.

The episode ends with Syaoran retrieving the feather and reuniting with Kurogane and Fai. They continue on their journey, but Syaoran is left with a heavy heart as he thinks about the choices he must make in his quest to retrieve Sakura's memories.
