Ep 10. The Mirror of Separation

The Mirror of Separation is the tenth episode of the first season of Tsubasa Chronicles. In this episode, we see the gang continuing their travels to different worlds in search of Sakura's scattered memories. They arrive at a beautiful, yet mysterious world where they are immediately drawn to the grandiose, mirror-covered palace in the distance.
As they explore the palace, they meet the ruler of this world, Lady Amaterasu, who informs them that the mirrors have the ability to show a person's deepest desires. However, there is a catch - once a person enters the mirror, they are unable to leave unless they have fulfilled their deepest desire.
The team discovers that the mirrors have a dark side to them - people have become trapped inside the mirrors and forgotten about their realities in the outside world. Eventually, after much hesitation, Sakura enters one of the mirrors and disappears. Her disappearance causes the rest of the team to fall into despair, wondering if they'll ever see her again.
As they search for a way to rescue Sakura, they discover that there is a hidden entrance to Lady Amaterasu's palace, and soon they find themselves traveling through a secret passage that leads them to the main chamber of mirrors. Kurogane immediately heads towards Sakura's mirror, hoping to rescue her, but he is sidetracked by his own innermost desires.
Meanwhile, Fai and Syaoran are left to fend for themselves. They eventually come across what appears to be Sakura's unconscious body, but of course, the journey to retrieve it is not an easy one. They encounter various traps and obstacles but eventually make it back to the palace.
The episode is one of the most memorable of Tsubasa Chronicles and is a beautiful exploration of the importance of self-discovery and inner strength. In the end, it emphasizes the idea that, no matter how strong the pull of our innermost desires, it is imperative to keep our feet firmly planted on the ground, lest we lose ourselves completely. The visual journey through the mirrors is stunning, and the music adds greatly to the emotional impact of this episode. Overall, it's one of the highlights of season 1, and it's a must-watch for fans of the show.
