Sookie is still reeling from her recent experience with Eric, and she turns to Alcide for comfort. Meanwhile, Bill finds himself drawn into a conflict with the Authority over a powerful ancient vampire named Marnie who has been causing trouble in Bon Temps. As tensions rise, Sookie finds herself caught in the middle of a dangerous supernatural battle.
The episode opens with Sookie lying in bed, clearly still upset over her encounter with Eric. Alcide shows up at her door, concerned and looking for answers. Sookie confides in him, revealing the truth about what happened between her and Eric. Alcide is sympathetic and offers to be there for her, however she needs him.
Meanwhile, Bill is summoned to a meeting with the Authority. They inform him that a group of vampires has been causing trouble in Bon Temps, led by a powerful and dangerous ancient vampire named Marnie. Bill is tasked with investigating and stopping them before more damage can be done.
As Bill begins his investigation, he discovers that Marnie is a witch who has been using her powers to control vampires and cause chaos. He also encounters Tara, who has been drawn into the conflict after being recruited by Marnie to help her cause.
As the conflict between vampires and witches heats up, Sookie finds herself caught in the middle. She is torn between her loyalty to Bill and her growing connection to Eric, who is still reeling from the events of the previous episode.
The tension comes to a head in a dramatic and explosive final scene, which leaves viewers on the edge of their seats and eagerly anticipating the next episode.
Overall, "I Wish I Was The Moon" is a thrilling and action-packed episode that keeps audiences engaged from start to finish. With compelling characters, high-stakes conflict, and a gripping storyline, it is a standout episode in the fourth season of True Blood.
