In True Blood season 2 episode 6, titled "Hard-Hearted Hannah," the town of Bon Temps continues to deal with the aftermath of Maryann's arrival. Tara is under Maryann's spell and has completely changed her personality, becoming reckless and hedonistic. Sookie and Lafayette worry about Tara's safety while trying to figure out how to break the spell.
Meanwhile, Sam investigates his connection to Maryann, suspecting that she may have played a part in his troubled past. He enlists the help of Daphne, a new waitress at Merlotte's who seems to know more about him than she lets on.
Bill and Jessica continue to adjust to their new vampire-human dynamic, with Bill struggling to reconcile his need for blood with his love for Sookie. Jessica, on the other hand, is eager to explore her new abilities and independence.
Jason, still reeling from finding out about his family's past, seeks solace in a new church group. However, when he discovers that the group's leader, Sarah Newlin, has a hidden agenda, he must decide whether to stay faithful or break free from their control.
As tensions rise in Bon Temps, old alliances are tested and new ones are formed. With Maryann's true intentions still unknown, the town must come together to face the threat she poses before it's too late.
