In season 1 episode 2 of the British sitcom Trollied, titled "Episode 2," viewers are taken on a journey through the hectic and often hilarious world of a fictional grocery store in the North West of England. The show revolves around the lives of the employees of the store from all different walks of life.

The episode opens with the staff preparing for the arrival of a bigwig from the company's head office. Store manager Julie (Jane Horrocks) is frantically trying to make sure everything is perfect, but with a group of rowdy customers, stock shortages, and a dysfunctional staff, this proves to be a nearly impossible task.

Meanwhile, new recruit Colin (Carl Rice) is still struggling to get to grips with his job, and every time he thinks he's got the hang of it, something else goes wrong. He's assigned to cover the bakery section, but his lack of experience means he has no idea which products are which. Enter Margaret (Rita May), an elderly employee who takes him under her wing and shows him the ropes. With her guidance, he manages to get through the day without any major hiccups, but not without a few laughs along the way.

Back on the shop floor, checkout girl Lisa (Beverley Rudd) is trying to impress her new supervisor, the cold and calculating Gavin (Jason Watkins). Lisa is eager to learn, but Gavin is more interested in scoring points with the higher-ups than actually doing his job. As a result, Lisa's attempts to improve her performance are thwarted at every turn.

Elsewhere, as tensions rise, tempers start to flare. Security guard Kieran (Nick Blood) is on the lookout for a shoplifter, only to be accused of profiling a customer based on her appearance. Things come to a head when the customer in question, fed up with the treatment she's received, takes matters into her own hands, leading to a hilarious showdown in the middle of the store.

As the day comes to a close, Julie is relieved to have survived unscathed, and the staff make their way home, exhausted but still in good spirits. Trollied provides a humorous look at what it's like to work in a grocery store, and Episode 2 is no exception. It's a laugh-out-loud comedy that will leave viewers wanting more, and eager to see what antics the staff will get up to in the next episode.
