Ep 8. Adventures in Trollsitting

In Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia season 1 episode 8 titled "Adventures in Trollsitting," the story revolves around Jim as he takes care of his younger brother, Toby, who wants to go on an adventure to the Darklands. Blinky offers Jim a perilous mission that results in Toby tagging along. Jim takes complete responsibility for Toby despite him being an annoying, pestering child. The agents capture him, and he ends up getting jailed. He discovers that he has been framed, which leads him to hatch a plan to escape with the help of another Troll who has been framed. The jailbreak plot twists the show to another level of adventure, which is intriguing and filled with suspense.

The story then shifts back to Jim and Toby, who are lost in the Darklands. They unknowingly enter an area filled with rotty-pumpkins, which leads to an amusing incident. Afterward, they find themselves in the presence of a Troll who has turned into stone. Toby takes interest in the stone figure, and Jim sees this as an opportunity to talk to him about his new interest. They learn that the Troll was attached to a group of bandits that were infamous for their nefarious doings. Jim sees this as a chance to uncover more about the troubling incident of the episode.

While Jim and Toby are on this mission, their friends, Claire and Blinky, are trying to help them out. They engage in a risky business of communicating through a crystal ball to help decipher clues from a Troll called AAARRRGGHH!!!, who calls himself Toby's spirit guide. This act of communication leads to Claire's dad discovering her hidden secret of helping Jim on his missions.

As the episode wraps up, Jim and Toby return home after a perilous adventure, and the story ends with Blinky approaching Toby to ask how his first mission was. Toby exclaims, "AWESOME," and proceeds to give Blinky a strange hand gesture, which Blinky says is a Troll response indicating something good. This remark makes Toby smile indicating he had an enjoyable time on his adventure.
