They are eventually contacted by a mysterious figure who identifies himself as "God" and claims to be in control of their ship.
As they struggle to regain control and avoid certain death, the crew must also navigate their own personal dramas. Chode is obsessed with making money and exploits the situation by ordering Gus to inspect the malfunctioning navigation system, which results in a comical mishap. Six is frustrated with her role as a sexual object and longs to be taken seriously as a member of the crew. T'nuk is grappling with her own feelings of insecurity and trying to prove herself in combat. Whip is busy tinkering with the ship's systems and trying to fix the problem.
Throughout the episode, viewers are treated to plenty of humor and witty banter between the characters. The animation style is colorful and dynamic, with plenty of visually stunning scenes of space travel and action-packed sequences. The overarching theme of the episode is the crew's struggle to regain control and assert their own agency in the face of a seemingly all-powerful force.
