Feeling hurt and left out, Medix decides to distance himself from the team and focus on his own goals. He spends all his time performing tasks that he thinks will impress the judges and help him win an award. However, in doing so, he neglects his responsibilities as a medic and puts his teammates in danger.
The rest of the team begins to worry about Medix and his behavior. They try to talk to him, but he is so focused on winning an award that he doesn't listen to them. However, everything changes when one of the academy buildings catches fire.
The team rushes to put out the fire and save any bots that may be trapped inside. However, when Heatwave, the team leader, gets injured, Medix is forced to step up and take charge. He is initially hesitant, but he realizes that his team needs him and puts his award ambitions aside to focus on the task at hand.
Medix's quick thinking and medical skills save the day, and everyone is rescued from the burning building. After the incident, Medix realizes that he was wrong to focus on winning an award instead of helping his team. He apologizes to the team, and they all forgive him.
The episode ends with the team attending the Bot's Choice Awards ceremony. Despite not being nominated for an award, Medix still feels like a winner because he was able to help his team and save lives. The rest of the team is proud of Medix and congratulates all the winners of the awards. The episode emphasizes the importance of teamwork and putting others before oneself.
