Ep 16. Ghost Town

Megatron has developed a new scheme to conquer Cybertron, but he finds out that some plans come with unexpected twists in the latest episode of Transformers: Cyberverse Season 2, titled "Ghost Town." The episode follows the Autobots and Decepticons as they navigate through a seemingly abandoned Cybertronian city to retrieve the AllSpark fragment.

The episode starts with Bumblebee sneaking around a deserted building. While exploring the dark corridors, he suddenly hears an eerie voice calling his name. Feeling terrified, he starts running, but he soon realizes that he is not alone, and something is following him. Meanwhile, the Autobots' team leader, Optimus Prime, and his companions, Windblade and Grimlock, are busy chasing down a Decepticon convoy that is believed to have the AllSpark fragment.

As they get closer to the Decepticons, they suddenly find themselves in the middle of a battered, empty Cybertronian city. The area is familiar, but there are no signs of life. Grimlock expresses his concern, saying that he doesn't like the look of the place, and he bids his new friends to proceed with caution. The trio, meanwhile, is unaware that Bumblebee is pursuing them, still being chased by whatever is lurking in the shadows.

As they explore the deserted area, they hear strange noises and inexplicable visions start to manifest. As they arrive at the center of the city, they discover that Megatron has stolen the fragment and is planning to use it for a nefarious purpose. Megatron reveals that the AllSpark fragment can power up his latest invention, an army of unstoppable, ghostly warriors that he had been developing in secret. He plans to use them to conquer Cybertron and reign in the new era of the Decepticons.

While Optimus Prime isn't impressed, WIndblade is surprised by the technology that the AllSpark fragment is being used for. She recognizes this as a refinement on what they once knew as 'ghost tech' – a way of creating shadow-like entities out of residual energy, usually used for reconnaissance activities.

The situation quickly escalates as the ghost minions rise to confront the Autobots. The Autobots fiercely fight back, with Optimus and Grimlock taking on multiple ghost warriors. Megatron is smug, but his overconfidence may cost him dearly. Meanwhile, Windblade finds a shard of the AllSpark herself, and her go-to strategy of using her blade ends up backfiring as it shatters when parrying one of the warrior's strikes.

Although the Autobots are able to hold their own, the situation becomes more complicated when Bumblebee is captured by the ghostly entities. The Autobots are forced to make a tough call as the Decepticons continue to obtain an advantage; they must retrieve the AllSpark fragment and save Bumblebee from the ghostly monsters at the same time. With their joint efforts and clever tactics, they are able to retrieve the fragment and save their friend from the ghosts, but not without a few surprises and plot twists.

As the episode concludes, the Autobots gain another fragment of the AllSpark, but they realize that they must stay on high alert. Megatron still looms as a substantial threat, and they can't relax and celebrate yet. As the Autobots prepare to return to their base, they can't help but wonder what other secrets and surprises the Cybertronian city holds for them, and what new technology they will have to face in order to stop the all-conquering plans of the Decepticons.
